Henderson Creek Lodge Guestbook
We wanted to share some of our guests' review of their vacations near Jackson Hole and Victor/Driggs Idaho. And we wanted to give you ideas on how to enjoy your vacation here in Teton Valley Idaho, "The Quiet Side of the Tetons". March 2011 - Physical Guestbook Entry Beautiful home & location! It served us well. We enjoyed some great skiing at Grand Targhee. Kudos to the gentleman who keeps the driveway open! We enjoyed our stay! March 2011 - Physical Guestbook Entry Had an unbelievable time. The web site does no justice to the place. More than we expected. Saw 2 moose behind the house on the first day while skiing behind the house. Awesome!! March 2011 - Physical Guestbook Entry This place was amazing. Everything from this beautiful home, the sunrise/set, the snow, people and skiing. Feb-March 2011 - Physical Guestbook Entry The [name withheld] & [name withheld] families had a wonderful timer again this year! The snow was simply beautiful! Marty Moose visited but kept his distance! Skiing & snowboarding was fun fun fun!The hot tub was welcome relaxation after long days on the slopes! We are looking forward to coming back next year! February 2011 - Physical Guestbook Entry We enjoyed our time here at Henderson Creek Lodge. Beautiful scenery, warm and comfortable home! Powder skiing !! Had a gorgeous full moon a couple nights. The hot tub was welcome after skiing! Close but not too close to Victor and Driggs. No other houses blocking our views. A real mountain escape. December 2010 - Physical Guestbook Entry We enjoyed a great vacation here at Henderson Creek Lodge! We snowmobiled in Horse Shoe Canyon one day and we drove up to Island Park, two other days. Beautiful scenery every way you look. We day-tripped to Jackson, WY since it was so close. We are not used to the treacherous roads that we experienced but we made it ok. Being from a rural home we appreciated the seclusion, felt right at home. Love, love, love the hottub after a hard day on the trails. A great experience for our first trip to Idaho…We had a wonderful time. Thanks for a pleasant experience! [name withheld for privacy] - Max, North Dakota P.S. It was definitely worth the 15 hour drive !
July 2010 - Physical Guestbook Entry No snow, no ice, no skiing, no boarding, no moose, no problem. We came from Houston to get away from people and the problems they bring. This was the right spot. Lots of wildlife, beautiful surroundings, and incredible weather. The locals were helpful and friendly. Jackson was nice but expensive. (They were expecting the summer crowd). We will be back in the winter months to check out the snow. Everything in the cabin is great. Wonderful Vacation.
March 2010 - Physical Guestbook Entry Spring Break: A wonderful place to gather for dear friends from Wyoming and Montana. Love the house -- the layout was fabulous for all ages and needs. Hot tub was great and we had some fun sledding after 6 inch snow fall -- that melted that day. Marty the Moose visited us while in the hot tub under the Wyoming - Idaho star sky ... a bit spooky but all was well. Snow was spring skiing / boarding. The old-timers say that this is the worse snow season in 30 years. We did Targhee 2 times and Jackson Hole once. Thought both have incredible breathtaking views and world class boarding -- we loved Targhee ! We hope to be back next year and catch a good snow year ! This year was wet-slushy and sunburn weather... spring break boarding with shirts off. Whew. Thank you! [name withheld], Helena, Montana [name withheld], Laramie, Wyoming
March 2010 - Physical Guestbook Entry The [names removed] clan had a spectacular time at the lodge! The scenery was spectacular. We were visited by a moose that we nicknamed "Marty"! What a treat! Loved the hot tub after long days on the slopes. We felt right at home & look forward to coming again! South Alabama and Northwest Florida Had a Blast!

October 2009 - Virtual Guestbook Entry We stayed at Henderson Creek Lodge in October 2009 and had a wonderful experience. We were a large group and this cabin accomodated everyone.
August 2009 - Virtual Guestbook Entry What a terrific place to relax. The home is in an ideal location to access all of the must do activities in Jackson Hole and the Teton Valley. We enjoyed rafting, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, horseback riding nd the Teton range from this amazing home. After the long days we enjoyed the shooting stars while soaking our sore muscles in the hot tub. his is a very large and comfortable home for one or two families. Enjoy!!
February 2010 - Physical Guestbook Entry Dear Diary, Today is one of the saddest days in my life. For two weeks I have had a passionate love affair with Henderson Creek Lodge. It started out so innocent. A simple glance across the valley, a walk to the wood pile, and suddenly I knew I was in love. Your wood fire stove kept me so warm, yet your fridge kept my beer and whiskey so cold. Your hot tub, so warm & bubbly, and the ski lift chair, so cold & hard, somehow combined... [and] made me fall, not only in the deepest of love, but also down the driveway...I swear to you I will never forget our good times, romantic fireside cocktails, and my friend hitting himself in the shin with an axe chopping firewood. I will write you everyday until I return next year. ![]()
The Henderson Creek Lodge Guestbook is really two guestbooks. We have a virtual guestbook you can find here and a physical guestbook that we keep at Henderson Creek Lodge.
