The Great Room

Walk through the front door of Henderson Creek Lodge, and the Great Room wraps you in the warmth of lodge-style design -- a fitting welcome to your vacation in one of Jackson Hole's best kept secrets.

Leather furniture provides a wonderful greeting where guests can relax after arriving from the airport or rest after enjoying outdoor fun.  Sit back and peer up at the cathedral ceiling and blissfully enjoy the rustic grain of the wood planks overhead.  Look around and be comforted by the sense of warmth and security provided by hefty log walls. 

Appreciate hand-crafted wood furniture sprinkled throughout this room -- like the exquisitely carved table depicting a darling bear cub whimsically holding a resting place for your drink. Enjoy the spirit of western pioneers depicted in  photographs throughout the Great Room.

Look out tall picture windows and peek through tree tops to the mountains in the background.  For some, this rekindles memories of being a kid with dreams of one day living in a big tree house.  Rustic rough-sawn floors add that special touch that makes the dream almost real.  And, those who want to relive the experience of sleeping in a tree house may enjoy using the Queen-size sleeper bed contained in the sofa.

If you want to watch TV, there's one here in the Great Room but it's discrete so as not to hide the views out the windows. When you're in the mood for a bigger picture, there's a 52" big TV in the Family Room.
